Businesses from across Sheffield came together on 9th June 2023 at Hallamshire Golf Club and battled it out on the 18-hole course in support of Neurocare – part of Sheffield Hospitals Charity.
The annual event, which has been supported by IFM Insurance since 2016, has raised a grand total of £178,867 and more than £24,500 from this year’s Golf Day alone.
The money raised was donated to Sheffield Hospitals Charity to support neurological projects and research across Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust which treats patients with a range of neurological conditions.
The Golf Day attracted 44 teams drawn from local South Yorkshire businesses who competed throughout the day.

“At Sheffield Hospitals Charity, we fund the places, spaces, research, equipment, staff development and wellbeing initiatives that cannot be achieved through NHS budgets so that everyone gets the care they deserve. Neurocare is one of the ways that we fund neurology-related work.
“Upcoming neurology work that we’re looking to fund include a cutting-edge research programme and an outdoor rehabilitation area at the Northern General Hospital – which we cannot do without the support of local businesses like IFM.”
